Anyone get rejected for seemingly no reason when trying to get LLama 3.1 access through HF?
yes, that was my case. Just go to "https://huggingface.co/meta-llama/Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct", ask for access by filling out the form, then wait for it.
I think alot of people did. I had no idea why I had to "sign in" when I already did. Then I followed the link, tried to get access (unsuccessfuly) and saw 200+ post in "discussion". Don't read all of them, but it seems it's all about rejected access.
